Last August, En Piste partnered with Circus for Change to promote their survey on equity and inclusion within the North American circus arts community. The data has now been compiled, and the results are available in English!

Circus for Change will have the opportunity to explain their approach and methodology next February during a presentation of the survey results to the Canadian circus community. A discussion on the topic will follow. More details will be revealed shortly!
In the meantime, if you wish to learn more about the topic, CAPACOA organized a virtual conference on November 3, 2020, titled Rebuilding on More Sustainable and Equitable Foundations – Equity and Inclusion. The intimate discussion explored the implications and actions of rebuilding a new sector with equity and inclusion embedded in Canadian arts organizations, businesses, or artistic practices. You can read a summary and watch a recording of the session here.
Finally, Circus for Change recently created a 12-week fitness program for aerial artists in quarantine, the proceeds of which will be donated to charities helping people through the pandemic. To learn more, click here.
