We have now launched our two continuing education programs for 2020-2021: the Individualized Training Support program and the Individualized Career Support program!

Thanks to the financial participation of the Government of Quebec and of Compétence Culture, circus artists and trainers will be able to receive training support, while all circus arts professionals  ̶  including artists, trainers, coaches, mediators, technicians, designers and cultural workers  ̶  will have access to an expert trainer to support them in their career development. The training activities can be carried out online and/or in person and must comply with publich health regulations. As in previous years, the programs are open to the entire circus community, but priority is given to members of the alliance.

Last year, no fewer than 100 participants benefited from more than 1183 hours of individual coaching provided by 66 trainers. Unfortunately, we were only awarded the grant for the Montreal component by Emploi-Québec this year and did not receive funding for the multi-regional component. For this reason, priority will therefore be given to individuals residing in Montreal. However, although places are limited, professionals residing in a region of Quebec outside Montreal may apply.

Those interested have until August 16 to submit their training projects for the fall session, which begins in September and ends on December 1, 2020. Applications for projects taking place in the winter session of 2021 will be accepted from September 15 to October 1, 2020, and the application dates for projects held in the spring session are from January 5 to 15, 2021. Mark these dates in your calendar!
