Geneviève Dupéré, exploring beyond the beaten path

In this podcast, we trace the extraordinary journey of Quebec researcher and creator Geneviève Dupéré and discover her position in research. We address many themes such as creative research, documentary creation, and interdisciplinarity.
Before returning to university for a PhD and leading écH2osystème, Geneviève worked in production, assistant directing, artistic direction, casting, and creative direction. Today, she works at the intersection of the arts and ecology and is interested in the complexity of ecosystems. Geneviève's research laboratory is the St. Lawrence ecosystem, and she wonders how the circus can be a vehicle for dynamic knowledge. We'll try to explain!
Since recording this podcast, Geneviève has received the award for best thesis from the Faculty of Arts at UQAM, she continues to teach her ecH2osystemic model in the master's program in environment and sustainable development at the University of Montreal, she is still a research associate at HUPR, and she continues to study the complexity of ecosystems as head of the public and educational programs division at the Montreal Biodome. Bravo, Geneviève!
