Description
Anatomie en action: Renforcement du bas du corps is a month-long weekly series of guided workouts targeting the lower body. Developed for circus professionals, the workshop offers tools to develop and maintain optimal physical condition along with exercises to apply newly gained anatomical knowledge.
In each of the four sessions, participants will examine components of the lower body, with exercises to promote balanced movement and to assist in reducing injury. Topics and exercises include:
Day 1
● Functional anatomy of the lower body (stability and mobility)
● Exercises inspired by diverse methods and techniques
Day 2
● Functional anatomy of the feet
● Exercises inspired by diverse methods and techniques
Day 3
● Functional anatomy of the knees (stability and mobility)
● Analysis of participants' needs
● Customized exercises based on participants’ needs
Day 4
● Functional anatomy and alignment of the lower body
● Further customized exercises based on participants’ needs
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of their physical training needs related to their practice. They will have deepened their anatomical knowledge and learned customized movement sequences.
Target audience : Circus artists and instructors
Detailed schedule : On Monday February 3rd and on Monday February 10th and on Monday February 17th and on Monday February 24th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (8 hours)
Please note that our workshops are given in French, so participants will need to have a good knowledge of this language. However, some of our trainers are bilingual and will be able to translate occasionally if needed.
