Emmanuel Rock Cyr, New Project Manager 

Montreal, November 21, 2023 — Nadia Drouin, Executive Director of our association, is delighted to announce the appointment ofEmmanuel Rock Cyr as Project Manager, a position she previously held.

"Emmanuel's deep knowledge and understanding of the milieu, as well as his commitment to it, will undoubtedly enrich our collaborations and interactions with artists, circus arts companies and partners," says Nadia Drouin."

Co-general and artistic director of Productions Carmagnole for 10 years, Emmanuel Rock Cyr has over twenty years' experience as a social circus instructor and trainer.

He has worked with various communities, developing a real competence in teaching and managing development projects through the circus arts. His dedication to social inclusion and individual well-being is evident in his work with organizations such as Cirque du Monde, Cirqiniq and many others.

A multidisciplinary artist, he juggles the performing and visual arts, disciplines that he has greatly contributed to establishing as distinct arts. He returns to Montreal after a seven-year tour with Cirque du Soleil's Luzia. In autumn 2023, he will direct Cirque des rencontres at La TOHU.

Emmanuel will manage the Destination cirque and Circulation de la relève programs (project underway). He will oversee the structuring and development of distribution networks throughout Quebec, in collaboration with venues, markets, festivals and other one-off events, as well as coordinating concertation, networking and mediation activities.
